- LOT Polish Airlines to re-establish French Lyon into the regular flight network.
- The connection will be launched on September 30 and operated six days a week.
- Since the launch of the flights, LOT Polish Airlines will be the only carrier to offer passengers a direct connection from Warsaw Chopin Airport to the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
The relaunch of the Warsaw-Lyon route is a response to growing demand for direct connections between Poland and the Central and Eastern France. Lyon, which is the country's thriving economic hub, is undoubtedly an attractive destination for expanding business. Due to its unique history, remarkable cultural monuments and cinematic heritage, the city has much to offer to visiting tourists. Direct flights to Lyon are also a great option for winter sports enthusiasts - in 2.5 hours from Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport, they will be enjoying the beautiful ski slopes of the Alpine Three Valleys.
