LOT POLISH AIRLINES REESTABLISHES A CONNECTION BETWEEN WARSAW AND LYON

On September 30, 2024, a connection from Warsaw to Lyon, France, was launched.
Flights on this route will be offered 6 times per week - both in the summer and winter seasons.
With the city's unique history and its rich culinary offering, Lyon is another attractive European destination in the Polish carrier's network.
The new route served by LOT Polish Airlines is currently the only direct connection between the Warsaw Chopin Airport and the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

On 30 September 2024, LOT Polish Airlines reintroduced a connection between Warsaw and Lyon. The ceremony held at the capital city's airport was attended, inter alia by Andrzej Ilków, CEO of Polskie Porty Lotnicze and Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines. The Embraer 195 aircraft serving this route landed in Lyon on time, at 10:30 am. The Polish carrier invites passengers to take advantage of the WAW-LYS route every day of the week, except Saturdays. The number of flights offered will remain the same in summer and winter flight schedules.

The connection between Warsaw and Lyon opens up a number of opportunities for the tourism and business sectors, as it stimulates trade and international cooperation. It also provides travelers with an excellent opportunity to visit the culinary capital of France — a destination that is highly appreciated by renowned experts from around the world. I am convinced that the multitude of attractions and the picturesque setting of the city, with its two rivers, will encourage passengers to board our planes and enjoy the service offered by our hospitable crews.
