LOT Polish Airlines continues to expand its presence at regional airports. Tickets for direct flights connecting Gdańsk with Brussels, Oslo and Bergen are on sale now

LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of new year-round connections from the Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdańsk.
The inaugural flights to Brussels and Oslo are planned for 29 April 2026, while those heading to Bergen are scheduled to take off on 30 April 2026.
Together with the previously announced connection between Gdańsk and Istanbul, the new routes mark another stage of the process of strengthening the presence of LOT Polish Airlines in the north of Poland.

The launch of three new connections from the Gdańsk airport is another step in the process of expanding the network of regional flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines. The inaugural flights to Brussels and Oslo are planned for 29 April 2026, while those heading to Bergen are scheduled to take off on 30 April 2026. On 14 January 2026, the national carrier will also launch a direct connection between Gdańsk and Istanbul, thus reinforcing its presence in the northern part of Poland. The new routes will provide the Pomerania province with direct access to popular tourist and business destinations, simultaneously enabling guests from abroad to discover the charm of the Tri-City and the entire region.

Brussels – travelling to the heart of Europe

The inaugural Gdańsk-Brussels flight has been scheduled for 29 April 2026. Poland’s national carrier will welcome passengers aboard its aircraft 4 times per week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Flight number LO2303 will be departing Gdańsk at 5:15 pm. The return flight, LO2304, will be leaving Brussels at 8:10 pm on the same days. The flight time is expected not to exceed 1 hour and 55 minutes.

Brussels is a city that sets the rhythm of the entire European Union. It is here, in the European Quarter, that all key EU institutions, such as the European Parliament, the European Council or the Council of the European Union are seated. Perhaps this is why when strolling the streets of the Belgian capital, one may hear a wide variety of languages from all corners of the world - a feature that makes the city and extraordinarily cosmopolitan destination. But Brussels also has to offer beautiful, green parks teeming with lush vegetation - with the Leopold Park being one of the examples. It is also a host to stunning sacral buildings (St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral) and offers truly breathtaking views - like the one from that may be enjoyed from the artist district known as Mont des Arts. It is a city that has numerous faces, with each of them being worth of exploring closer.

Oslo – the essence of Scandinavian vibe

LOT Polish Airlines will offer, each week, five flights departing for the capital of Norway on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The national carrier’s planes will be taking off from Gdańsk at 7:10 am (LO2305), and the passengers will be embarking on their return journey at 9:45 am (LO2306). LOT Polish Airlines aircraft will be covering the route in approximately 1 hours and 35 minutes, in both directions.

The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History is one of Oslo’s most interesting attractions. Its open-air space allows the visitors to feel the vibes of distant past and enables them to explore it by admiring wooden houses or enactments presenting the work of craftsmen and long forgotten traditions. But the Norwegian landscapes are best admired from the sea. A cruise along the Akerselva river is a truly unforgettable experience, as it offers a great insight into the Oslofjord region with its numerous, charming islands. The fans of ski jumping will find something for themselves here as well! The Holmenkollen is home to a ski jumping hill where Adam Małysz celebrated, on numerous occasions, his World Cup triumphs. The Skiing Museum located nearby offers a number of interesting exhibitions and a unique ski jumping simulator.

Bergen – colourful houses, local markets, stunning nature

Flights between Gdańsk and Bergen will be offered three times per week – on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Flight number LO2307 will be departing Gdańsk on Thursdays, at 7:00 am. The connections offered on Tuesdays and Sundays (LO2309), in turn, will be taking off at 5:15 pm. The passengers will be able to embark on their return journeys at 9:50 am (LO2308) and 8:05 pm (LO2310), respectively. LOT’s hospitable aircraft will be hosting them for approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Bergen is Norway’s second-largest city. It owes its quickly growing tourist numbers to the unique local atmosphere, in the first place. Colourful, typically Scandinavian houses contribute to the exceptional vibe of the town. The ones located in the vicinity of the port, in the Bryggen district, have been inscribed in the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. Local fishermen and craftsmen set up their stalls nearby as well, providing a better insight into the true identity of this stunning region. Trips on the Fløyen funicular or the Ulriken cable car, with the latter climbing to the top of one of the seven mountains surrounding the city – should be mandatory items on each visitor’s agenda as well. Guests deciding to take advantage of those attractions will be able to admire Bergen and the surrounding fjords from a truly breathtaking perspective. Million-dollar sensations are guaranteed.
