We welcome LOT Polish Airlines’ announcement to launch a route between Malta and Warsaw, calling it a further important step in destination Malta’s quest for diversifying its airline connectivity mix and the markets it connects it to. Besides opening up Malta to niches not currently serviced in the fast-growing Polish market to the island, LOT’s new service will also seamlessly link Malta to the attractive long haul markets, which can benefit from LOT’s extensive international network.
Carlo Micallef, Malta Tourism Authority CEO
Malta International Airport is pleased to welcome LOT Polish Airlines with the launch of their first direct flights between Malta and Warsaw this coming summer. Poland is one of our top-performing markets, and this new route will further strengthen the growing ties and connectivity between our two countries. With Warsaw serving as an important hub, this route will also provide our passengers with more seamless travel opportunities to destinations beyond Poland. We look forward to collaborating closely with LOT Polish Airlines to ensure the success of this new connection.
